Why pay you’re provider outrageous fees for directory assistance when you can get it free?

In the mid-1990s, the cost for directory assistance was about 35 cents, a sharp contrast from todays rates.

Here’s 3 sources where you can get the 411 free as an alternative to being gouged.

The only catch is that with Tellme and Free 411 you will have to listen to a brief ad before getting your listing.

A bargain in my opinion, especially if you’re making several 411 calls on a daily/monthly basis.

    I found a FREE 411 provider called 1-800-411-SAVE. Aside from business listings, you can also request for residential and government listings as well. Great part about it is that it’s operator assisted.
